Brave the Wind

Brave the Wind is a program inspired by the Year of the Horse — a symbol of strength, instinct, and moving forward in the face of uncertainty. In a time shaped by change, displacement, and division, the program reflects on what it means to keep going together and how music can bring people into a shared space to listen, connect, and move forward side by side.

Performed by a cello ensemble, the program features classical music, traditional tunes, and familiar pop songs, offering audiences a varied and accessible musical experience.

Programme

  1. Vivaldi – Double Concerto
  2. Libertango
  3. Mozart – Eine kleine Nachtmusik
  4. Shostakovich – Waltz No. 2
  5. Bach-the Cello Song (arranged version)
  6. 鼓聲若響 The Drumbeat
  7. 雨夜花 (Flowers in the Rainy Night)
  8. 月亮代表我的心 (The Moon Represents My Heart)
  9. 周杰倫:千里之外 (Faraway)
  10. Fly Me to the Moon
  11. 朋友 (Friends)
  12. The Turtles- Happy Together
LunarFest GTA - EnCello

EnCello

EnCello Toronto is all about bringing people together through music. We’re a cello ensemble that combines performances with innovative music education. Our focus is on creating a space where professional musicians and apprentices can collaborate, learn, and grow together. It’s not just about the music—it’s about connecting people, creating opportunities and building a community.
